The epoxy self-leveling floor is beautiful, smooth and dust-free. It is widely used in the coating of modern industrial floors. It is an environmentally friendly and energy-saving epoxy floor. Many places, such as schools, laboratories, factory workshops, offices, etc.
The ground has chosen to be epoxy self-leveling, so how to construct epoxy self-leveling and how to maintain it has gradually attracted people's attention. Epoxy self-leveling construction process:
1. Base surface treatment
Use a multifunctional concrete grinder to polish the base surface as a whole. After the concrete grinder is polished, check the ground to see if there is any loose ground falling off during the roughing process. If necessary, use epoxy putty and quartz sand to repair deal with.
2. Determine the humidity
The "rubber pad test" uses a 1m×1m polyethylene film tape to stick to the ground (built-in dry paper towel) after 24 hours, and then remove it to determine the amount of condensed water.
3. Epoxy self-leveling primer layer
The primer mixes and stirs the main material and curing agent according to the proportion, and paints the base surface uniformly and without omission. The purpose is to seal the surface, the primer penetrates the ground so that the epoxy floor is closely integrated with the ground.
4. Epoxy self-leveling middle coating
Mix the main materials of the intermediate coating and the curing agent according to the proportion, add an appropriate amount of quartz sand, and stir well. The construction time of the mixing is limited to about 30 minutes. Scrape it with a toothed trowel to make the surface smooth. The purpose is to further repair, level the ground, and prepare for the topcoat construction.
5. Epoxy self-leveling putty layer
Mix the epoxy main material and the curing agent according to the proportion, and stir it evenly. Add the appropriate amount of quartz powder and stir; the construction time is about 30 minutes. Use a trowel to scrape twice. After the first pass is dry, use a multifunctional floor grinder to polish and scrape again to make the surface smooth. The purpose is to further seal the mortar surface and prepare for the topcoat construction.
6. Epoxy self-flowing plane coating
After the putty layer is solidified, close the construction area, do not allow idle personnel to enter, re-clean the ground, carefully inspect, remove surface particles, repair ground defects, use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum and clean the ground for surface coating construction.
7. On-site cleaning and maintenance, floor maintenance
After the surface coating is completed by the concrete grinder, move the relevant construction materials and tools away from the site, tightly seal and protect the finish, at least 24 hours before allowing people to enter and walk. No mud and sand can be brought in. It usually takes 3 days for the paint film to solidify.
